At Jackman Electrical Services, we’re a small, tight‑knit residential electrical contractor serving Kingwood, New Caney, and Porter, TX. We take pride in doing things the right way- by the book, up to code, and with respect for our customers and each other.

We’re not always actively hiring, but we’re always interested in meeting good people. When we do add to our team, we start with candidates who’ve already shown initiative by reaching out.

Who We’re Interested In

We regularly accept applications for future opportunities in the following roles:

Electrical Apprentice

Active Texas Apprentice Electrician license or willing to obtain one prior to hiring
Strong desire to learn and grow in the trade
Willingness to follow code, instructions, and best practices

Journeyman Electrician

Active Texas Journeyman Electrician license
Ability to perform residential electrical work safely and correctly
Comfortable interacting with homeowners and representing the company professionally

Residential Electrical Consultant (Sales)

Works directly with homeowners to assess needs and recommend solutions
Strong communication and customer‑service skills
Residential electrical knowledge preferred
Focused on honesty, accuracy, and long‑term customer trust — not pressure sales

Office Assistant

Helps keep projects, scheduling, and communication running smoothly
Organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers
Experience in trades or service businesses is a plus

Requirements

All positions require:

Active Texas electrical license (where applicable)
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable transportation and ability to run material pickups as needed
Comfort working in occupied homes and communicating professionally with customers
